How I got started—
Hi my name is Leah and I love Luby’s Macaroni & Cheese more than anyone ever will. Phew. Glad I got that out of the way… Back to where we were. This whole photography thing all started when I picked up my first camera in middle school, yes it was pink, to take pictures to enter into our County Fair. It was something that I looked forward to every year but did not foresee it evolving into what was once a hobby and is now my occupation! Over the past 9 years, I have been capturing weddings and the special happenings in between and I wouldn’t trade it for anything!
Random things that make me, well, me—
I am a new mom to our precious son Henry, he is the greatest gift anyone could ask for. I have a cat named Winston, unfortunately not named after the Winston in New Girl. He is THE cutest and most precious thing ever. Don't be surprised if I bring him up in every conversation. We have a dog and named her Oakley. She might have stolen the show from Winston, but don’t tell him that. Despite the assumptions about Luby's Cafeteria, I am the biggest fan of their Macaroni & Cheese. Growing up, I would get a three "vegetable" plate, and get it as all of the vegetables... Judge me! On any road trip, I will always, always, always get a Dr. Pepper and a box of Cheese-It's. You will most likely find me at my favorite Chuy's Tex-Mex eating all of their chips and Creamy Jalapeño sauce. Apparently most of my traits and interests involve food, but I promise that I do like other things like movies (The Master of Disguise is my favvv), clothes (Madewell will forever have my heart), and my friends and family! All this to say, I could not do this without the support of my husband and the gifts that the Lord has given me!
